Enhance Updates

Enhance updates include Core and Appcd updates, which improve platform functionality, security, and performance. While updates are not forced, it is highly recommended to keep your installation up to date.

Core Updates:

• Platform-wide updates that include both API and UI updates.
• Manual updates triggered within your control panel.
• Accompanied by release notes detailing the changes.
• To run a Core update:
  1. Open Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Platform.
  3. Navigate to Software updates.
  4. Click Update now to start the update.
  5. The update will apply across your platform, with minimal downtime as services restart.

Appcd Updates:

• Provisioning, performance, and security updates for PHP containers and website hosting.
• Manual updates needed on every server in your Enhance cluster.
• Accompanied by release notes detailing the changes.
• To run an Appcd update:
  1. Open Servers in the left sidebar.
  2. Manage the server you want to update.
  3. Scroll to Roles and select the Application tab.
  4. Click Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Repeat this on all servers running the Application role in your cluster.
