Enhance DNS and Cloudflare Integration

Enhance offers Cloudflare integration (BETA) to synchronize domain DNS records with Cloudflare. Changes in Enhance automatically sync with Cloudflare, but updates in Cloudflare won't sync back to Enhance.

Adding Cloudflare to an Account

  1. Generate an API token using Cloudflare's default DNS template at Cloudflare API Tokens.
  2. Open Integrations in the left sidebar.
  3. In the Cloudflare card, click Add.
  4. Enter a Friendly Name and your Cloudflare API token.
  5. Click Save.

Adding Cloudflare to a Domain

  1. Open the Manage page for the desired domain.
  2. Below the domain name, choose a Cloudflare token from the Cloudflare selector dropdown.
    • If the domain exists in Cloudflare, Enhance connects and replaces the records.
    • If the domain doesn’t exist, Enhance creates it in Cloudflare.
  3. Point your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare's, which can be updated where your domain is registered.

TIP:
Staging domains can't use Cloudflare API tokens. Use Enhance DNS for staging, as records are set automatically.

Managing DNS Settings

The Proxy Status of a DNS record determines how Cloudflare handles traffic.

To toggle Cloudflare's proxy for a DNS record:

  1. Open Domains and go to the DNS Records card.
  2. Click Edit on the relevant record.
  3. Toggle the Proxy Status.
  4. Click Save.

Note:
As this integration is in BETA, report any issues to support@enhance.com.
