Plesk Importer
Overview
Enhance's Plesk importer tool, currently in BETA, allows you to migrate a Plesk backup to Enhance. While the tool is functional, you may encounter some unexpected behavior. Any issues can be reported to support@enhance.com.
This tool will restore a full website backup from Plesk to Enhance. However, some proprietary Plesk features are not supported and will not be copied.
What Gets Imported:
- Primary website
- Sub and alias domains (mapped to a single website)
- All files
- All databases
- Installed applications
- Email accounts (including passwords and email data)
- Forwarder-only accounts
- Existing SSL certificates
- Scheduled tasks
- PHP version
- FTP accounts
- MX and TXT records (for SPF)
What Is Not Supported:
- Postgres databases
- Wildcard subdomains
- Mailman settings
- Directory privacy
- Catch-all email addresses
- Autoresponders
- Calendars and contacts
- Existing statistics
- Error pages
Steps to Import a Plesk Backup:
- In Enhance, go to Website Importer in the left sidebar.
- Click New import and select Plesk.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to generate a compatible Plesk backup (must be a full backup and not password-protected).
- Save the backup as a file on your desktop.
- Click Next step, then Choose file to upload your Plesk backup.
- Review any conflicts that may block the import (shown in a red modal).
- Click Import to complete the process.
