Installing the Email Role
Firewall Requirements:
Ensure the following ports are open on your firewall for the Email role to function correctly:
- POP/IMAP: 143, 110, 993, 995
- SMTP: 25, 587, 465
The Email role can be installed on any server in your Enhance cluster, whether it’s a new or existing server.
Steps to Install the Email Role:
- Navigate to Servers in the left sidebar.
- Select the server where you want to add the Email role.
- Click Add role and check the Email box.
- Fill out the required form and click Add role.
- Ensure the hostname resolves to the server and has a matching reverse DNS.
Additional Tips:
- You can leave the server page while the installation is in progress. You'll be notified once it's completed.
- The Email role is not automatically assigned to websites. To map existing websites to this role, use the Move server option in the left-hand menu.
