Add an IPv6 Address to a Server
Each server in your Enhance cluster must have an IPv4 address. IPv6-only servers are not supported, and websites hosted on servers with an IPv6 address will automatically have that IP injected into their DNS. However, adding an IPv6 address to the server requires manual binding.
Steps to Add an IPv6 Address to a Server:
- Go to Servers in the left-hand menu.
- Select Manage from the dropdown menu of the desired server.
- In the top right corner of the server management page, select General from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll to Server IP address.
- Click the pencil icon next to IPv6.
- When the modal loads, input your IPv6 address and click Update.
Important Notes:
- Adding an IPv6 address to a server does not bind it automatically. You will need to bind the address manually.
- Websites hosted on servers with an IPv6 address will have that IP automatically added to their DNS.
