Website Server Placement
Enhance offers advanced logic for provisioning websites, ensuring optimal use of your infrastructure.
Global Website Server Placement
This setting controls where new websites are provisioned across servers.
- Least load: Places the website on the server with the lowest historical load, provided the server is up.
- Least websites: Places the website on the server with the fewest websites, ideal for scaling as new servers receive all new websites.
- Random: Randomly selects a server for website placement, ensuring even distribution if you deploy a large cluster at once.
Note: Disabled server roles are ignored for placement.
To Configure Global Website Server Placement:
- Click Settings in the left sidebar.
- Go to Platform settings and scroll to Server placement.
Tip: Server placement rules are overridden by plan server groups and dedicated servers.
Force Website Server Placement
