Deleting E-Mail Accounts in DirectAdmin

If you need to remove unnecessary or outdated e-mail accounts, DirectAdmin provides a simple way to delete them. Follow these steps to clean up your e-mail accounts:

Step 1: Access the E-Mail Menu

  1. Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel.

  2. Navigate to the E-Mail Menu.

  3. Click on the "POP3 E-Mail Accounts" link.

Step 2: Select the E-Mail Accounts to Delete

  • On the POP3 E-Mail Accounts page, you will see a list of all the e-mail accounts associated with your domain.

  • Locate the account(s) you wish to delete.

  • Check the box next to the account(s).

Step 3: Delete the Selected Accounts

  1. After selecting the accounts to delete, click the "Delete Selected" button.

  2. A confirmation message will appear to ensure you want to proceed with the deletion.

Important Notes

  • Default Account: The default account (e.g., username@yourdomain.com) cannot be deleted as it is tied to your control panel login.
  • Irreversible Action: Once an account is deleted, all its associated e-mails and data are permanently removed from the server. Ensure you back up any important data before deletion.
