Creating Vacation Messages in DirectAdmin

Vacation messages are helpful for informing others that you're away and will not be able to respond immediately. For example: "I have received your email but am currently away on vacation until [date]. I will respond then."

To set up a vacation message for your email account, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Vacation Messages Menu

  1. Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel.
  2. Navigate to the E-Mail Menu.
  3. Click on the Vacation Messages icon.

Step 2: Set a New Vacation Message

  1. Click the Set New Vacation Message link.
  2. Select the POP3 account you want to associate with the vacation message.
  3. Enter your vacation message in the text box.
  4. Choose the start and end dates for when the vacation message will be active.
  5. Click the Create button to save your message.

Once created, your vacation message will be automatically sent to anyone who emails you during the specified period.
