Creating Vacation Messages in DirectAdmin
Vacation messages are helpful for informing others that you're away and will not be able to respond immediately. For example: "I have received your email but am currently away on vacation until [date]. I will respond then."
To set up a vacation message for your email account, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access the Vacation Messages Menu
- Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel.
- Navigate to the E-Mail Menu.
- Click on the Vacation Messages icon.
Step 2: Set a New Vacation Message
- Click the Set New Vacation Message link.
- Select the POP3 account you want to associate with the vacation message.
- Enter your vacation message in the text box.
- Choose the start and end dates for when the vacation message will be active.
- Click the Create button to save your message.
Once created, your vacation message will be automatically sent to anyone who emails you during the specified period.
